Beachy Vibes

A few weeks back now my boyfriend and I headed out for a Saturday afternoon by the seaside. Spending one of the last weekends of Summer soaking up some rays in the beautiful town of Fremantle sounded like a pretty good plan to me. Sun hat at the ready, we made our way down to the Bathers Beach Sunset Markets.

First stop, the brand new Bathers Beach House. A chic venue right on the coast with absolutely ah-maaazing views over the ocean. The perfect place to grab a drink, soak up some rays and watch the waves peacefully lapping away at the shore. I could honestly spend hours here, cocktail after cocktail just enjoying the atmosphere and beautiful views.
After our little refresher we decided to take a little meander along by the water before checking out our dinner options. The sun was just starting to head down, creating the most gorgeous amber light. There was almost something a little Valencia-eque about it all. Fellow Instagram addicts, you know what I'm saying.
Now both adequately windswept and tummies grumbling we made our way over to the market stalls. Held every Saturday through the summer season, the Bathers Beach Markets hosted a small assortment of tasty food stalls. Way too many choices to opt for just one, we decided to share a couple of things.
First up, a Ramen burger. Something I've never heard of before and wouldn't have even thought to try if the friendly man working the stall didn't offer us a taste. A ramen noodle bun came packed with crispy battered chicken which tasted amazing- it had so much flavour! It won me over and I'd definitely have another some time.
'Can you please stop taking photos so I can eat it now?'.
Someone enjoyed this one.

Next up this tasty quesadilla. Filled with spicy chorizo and cheese, it hit the perfect spot. Kieron also snuck in a big bratwurst hot dog but was gobbled up way too quickly for me to get a snap. Boys, eh?
Now feeling extremely full we made our way, very slowly, back to the car and headed home. Same time next week?
