April Favourites

The end of another month brings another round of monthly favourites posts. This month was pretty hectic for me between uni, work, family and work experience so there hasn't been a whole lot of new additions to my usual rotation. I've been sticking to the products I know and love to get me through when time is of the essence. However there have been a few products that have stood out and deserve a  little mention.

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer: With sleepless nights comes tired eyes in need of brightening and those have been a plenty recently. My under eye concealer of choice has been Rimmel's Wake Me Up offering. A yellow-ish concealer which works magic to brighten any darkness. It's not got the most coverage, if dark circles are a serious problem for you you may want to look else where, but for my slight shadows I find this is perfect. Not at all heavy or cakey, it's natural but radiant. Rimmel you've done it again.

Daniel Sandler Velvet Waterproof Liner in Brown: If you saw my recent Bronze Eye post you'll know about my love for a defined bronzed eye and brown liner is the perfect way to achieve it. Daniel Sandler's offering is creamy and pigmented plus the twist up packaging means no sharpening, thanks Daniel.

Aesop Chamomile Concentrate Anti-Blemish Masque: My skin has been really playing up recently with cystic breakouts a plenty (TMI?) so I've been depending on this to stop the buggers (excuse my French) in their tracks. As soon as I feel a pimple sprouting I pop a blob of this on and let it work it's magic. It helps calm things down and if I'm quick enough, makes them disappear before anything too massive pops up. A skincare staple for me, especially near that time of the month.

Indeed Laboratories Hydraluron: If you saw my recent post on Antipodes Vanilla Pod Hydrating Day Cream you'd know I've been really getting in to skin hydration recently and loving the results. I thought moisturiser alone was working wonders for my skin but since popping this serum on underneath, morning and night, I've noticed such a difference. Moisturiser is absorbed quickly and my skin is left soft and supple, the perfect base for makeup. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to up the moisture anti, even oily skinned gals like me!

Essence Season of Extremes Nail Polish in Just the Nude of Us: I recently popped up a full review of this amazing budget buy and I'm still loving it! It's been on my nails most of the month and I really can't fault it, especially for the bargain price! The glittery shade isn't really my thing but that nude is spot on.

What products have you been loving this month?

I really like the rimmel concealer too, works super well. I'm always intrigued by the hydrolauron, I might just have to cave soon and buy it!
