March Favourites

It's time for another bombardment of monthly favourites posts here in the blogging world although I'm not complaining as they are some of my favourite posts to read. I love to see what new things bloggers have been loving and maybe add an item or two to my shopping list. For regular readers the makeup items in this post probably won't surprise you however the skincare bits may be new to you. I like to really get to know a skincare product before making my final verdict so you know that if they've made it here, they're pretty top notch.

Rimmel Match Perfection Silky Loose Face Powder: I've raved about this throughout this month and it's yet to leave my daily face rotation. Similar to it's Stay Matte counterpart however offers an even more natural finish thanks to the loose formula. A good one for girls wanting to set their makeup in place but without too matte of a finish. You can read more about this powder here.

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush Achiote: I featured this in my most recent Daily Face post and I've honestly been reaching for it most days this month. Things have been pretty busy with university to I've been loving easy options that I can rely on and this ticks all the boxes. I'm sure you've heard many a rave about the formula of these, they're super pigmented, apply and blend really well and last through out the day. This particular shade is gorgeous. Peachy pink and perfect for complimenting a natural tan or adding some colour to a bronzed cheek.

Daniel Sandler Velvet Waterproof Eyeliner Brown: I'm slowly getting more and more into the whole eyeliner thing, I started with eyeshadow smudged into the lash line but now I've upgraded to proper eyeliner (exciting times). This DS liner has made the change so easy, it is super velvety and applies like a dream. Post application you can blend and smudge to your hearts content and within a few minutes it's set in place and won't budge. Plus I've spoken of my love for brown around the eyes for subtle definition so many times, I won't harp on again! You can read more about this liner here.

Rimmel Eyeshadow Palette Brixton Brown: This little budget buy has been my favourite thing to experiment with this month. I'd usually run a mile from anything red anywhere near my eyes but I decided to be brave and have loved the results. The shadows are well pigmented with just the lightest brown leaning on the slightly chalky side. A full review of this is in the works and you'll be able to see how I tone down the red shade for a simple daily look.

Balance Me Cleanse and Smooth Face Balm: I was on the hunt for a more budget friendly replacement for my Emma Hardie Amazing Face Moringa Cleansing Balm that was packaged in a more travel friendly manner when I came across this. I've never tried anything from Balance Me before but they really impressed me here. I don't want to say too much as I'm working on a full review however think a slightly more exfoliating Emma Hardie without the shocking packaging, tube face balms are definitely the way forward.

Antipodes Vanilla Pod Hydrating Day Cream: After having a little break from my once loved Pai Bioregenerate Roship Oil I've been on the hunt for a moisturiser suitable for overnight. Now I know this is a day cream however I don't find that my skin needs a whole heap of moisture so something light like this is perfect. It still manages to ramp up the moisture levels without being heavy or mask-like. I've recently been using it morning and night and my skin loves it. Once again I think I'll pop up a full review of this soon. I'm on uni break in couple of weeks so I promise I'll be more on the ball blogging wise!

  3. May have to give the Match Perfection Powder a try as I've stopped using my Stay Matte because I'm loving a more dewy finish. :)
