The Effortless Lip Lineup

I love products that require minimal effort for those busy days and lately I've been all about the effortless lip. Easy to apply and can be touched up on the go sans mirror, they're a perfect addition to any handbag. Today's lineup is all about adding a slight hint of natural pinky colour whilst also maintaining moisture levels. Three types with three different results but all effortless to apply and maintain.

The Lipstick
Rimmel's Moisture Renew Lipstick in the shade Notting Hill Nude is the ultimate in low maintenance lip colour. Offering the most colour in this line up, it's creamy formula makes application a dream. Slightly more pink than my natural lip colour and barely detectable on the lips, it's not the most long lasting formula but being so easy to reapply that's not a big issue for me. Plus it really does leave my lips feeling moisturised and it's easy on the wallet.

The Lipbalm
Burt's Bees Replenishing Pomegranate lipbalm is a lovely tinted balm. Best for days when lips are looking dry as it really does ramp up the moisture levels whilst also providing  a very subtle hint of pink. The one down side; the smell. I'm not sure what it is but I absolutely hate the smell of this which does sometimes put me off applying. But if you can get over the scent, this is perfect for girls that struggle with really dry lips.

The Gloss
L'Oreal's Shine Caresse in 101 Lolita is a light, pinky mauve gloss/stain hybrid that is easy to apply and is surprisingly long lasting. It feels so light on the lips but offers a really nice shiny pink tint which can be built up easily. I'm not usually a lip gloss girl, I find most too sticky and heavy, but this one is not at all sticky and I can barely feel that I'm wearing anything. Really nice on it's own for an effortless lip or can be used over a matte lipstick to add shine.

  1. I love L'Oreal Shine Caresse in Lolita :) One of my favourite lip stain/gloss products. It's great for people who don't really love lip glosses (like me!). :)
