Boxing Day Lush Hauling

My love for a Lush bath is well documented around these parts and I have a particular weakness for their Christmas range, spices and citrus is my kinda thang. Lush is currently holding a  '50% of Christmas stock' special so of course I spent way too much money and now have a bathroom that smells, and looks, like I could potentially be opening a Lush store myself.

First on my list was the Cinders Bath Ballistic. Chocka-block with cinnamon leaf and orange oil, this is Christmas in one sniff. Made interesting by the addition of popping candy to replicate the sound of a crackling fire. The one downside is that it does make the bath water a bright, pee-like yellow which is a little uninviting but luckily doesn't leave any colourful residue behind. Next up was the well loved Golden Wonder Bath Ballistic. One I am yet to try however I love the orange/lime citrus scent and the idea of a bath bomb bursting out golden stars is right up my alley.

I also picked up one of their Christmas gift sets called Festive Goodies featuring a Father Christmas Bath Ballistic, The Christmas Penguin Bubble Bar and Bombardino Bath Ballistic all for a mere $9.50!
Such a nice way to try out some different pieces throughout the year. If you're lucky enough to be near a Lush store that's still got some Christmas bits in stock, I'd definitely recommend popping in and having a bit of a stock up. I think most of the Christmas stock online has sold out so in store is your best bet! The bath bombs last pretty well so a nice treat throughout the year.

I also picked up some other beauty bits on the online beauty sales. Escentual has 20% off storewide so I took the opportunity to bag some Clarins bits. Escentual don't ship Clarins outside of Europe so I've sent mine to family members in the UK who will be visiting early next year. I picked up the Ever Matte Foundation, Bronzing Duo and Prodige Illuminating Blush. I also caved and purchased Diptyque's Philosykos Eau De Toilette for half price in the Space NK sale, once again sending it to family in the UK.

Did you brave the Boxing Day madness and bag yourself some beauty bargains?

  1. Awwww all the little soaps look so cute! :3 Lush has obviously improved on their design, because up until this year, some of the faces that they tried to make on their soaps scared me. XD
