Antipodes Action

Ever enter a beauty store with the aim to come out with only one product? You head straight to the relevant counter to find that they're offering '3 for 2' and you convince yourself that it would be rude not to take advantage. You spend an extended period of time examining each and every product the brand has to offer before making your decision and leaving the store with your '3 for 2' load and a damaged bank account. Rewind to this morning and that was me. Quickly popping into Myer, wishful thinking, to pick up a new moisturiser before promptly returning home. With the counter of interest located, I make a beeline and soon notice that always tempting '3 for 2' sign. Half an hour later I leave with not only the moisturiser which spurred on my shopping trip, but also a cleanser and serum. As you do.

The moisturiser in interest; Antipodes Vanilla Pod Hydrating Day Cream. With 'nutrient rich avocado oil, Vinanza Grape and manuka honey', I'm hoping this will help plump up and brighten my currently lack lustre skin. Manuka honey to provide those all important antibacterial properties and, as always with Antipodes, natural ingredients perfect for sensitive skin, this shouldn't result in any breakouts. Fingers crossed. I think this may be slightly too heavy for day time use on my oily skin however I see no reason why it can't be used over night, despite the name.

When faced with the dilemma of choosing my other 2 for the deal, unresearched and unprepared, I opted for the Juliet Skin-Brightening Gel Cleanser and Apostle Skin Brightening and Tone-Correcting Serum. Ok so I wasn't completely unprepared, I have had my eye on this cleanser for quite some time so that was an obvious choice for me. Once again featuring good ol' manuka honey it's aimed at both oily and normal skin types and claims to balance oil production whilst helping reveal 'your healthiest glow ever'. My current lack lustre skin state was the sole reason behind choosing the Apostle Serum. Aimed to help correct dull, blemished and uneven skin I haven't heard anything about this one before but am hoping it's going to be love.

Now armed with a trio of new, skin boosting beauties I'm off to wash my face. 3 for 2, you have most definitely done it again.
