The Cleanser Line Up

I'm a firm believer in mixing up my skincare routine to respond to whatever my skin decides to throw at me and for that, I need a pretty extensive 'skincare wardrobe'. While my skincare wishlist is still embarrassingly long, I do think I've got most basis covered with the following cleanser line up. From makeup removal, lack of moisture and attack of the pimples, I feel confident with these on my side. And yes, I am currently imagining me and my trusty cleansers going to war with a whopper of a pimple, is that weird?

Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm, making yet another appearance on the blog, is honestly a, dare I say, holy grail cleanser. The one I reach for when I'm craving a luxurious massage that will leave my skin feeling deeply cleansed as well as hydrated and supple. My favourite for cleansing round 1 in the evenings as it melts away the remnants of the day's face and gets my skin ready for round 2 (which more often than not, is another dose of EH or...).

Ren ClearCalm 3 Clarifying Clay Cleanser comes into play when things start to get a bit spotty. Hormonal breakouts are my thang, unfortunately, so my spot arsenal is pretty big. Targeting excess sebum, build up of dead skin cells and blemish causing bacteria, it's antibacterial properties help kick those pesky breakouts in the butt. I like to massage into damp skin and leave for a few minutes before removing with a muslin cloth, like a mini clay mask-esque treatment.

Pai Camellia and Rose Gentle Hydrating Cleanser is the one I reach for when my skin has decided to behave or is slightly lacking in moisture. I particularly like this for mornings as it gives a nice gentle cleanse and leaves my skin lovely and plumped and I find that my makeup applies so much nicer after using. So much so that the boy said my skin was 'glowing' the other day, is this real life?! Pai is quickly becoming one of my favourite skincare brands, not only are their products lovely and gentle for sensitive skin but also work really well, this cleanser being no exception!

What are the standout cleansers in your skincare wardrobe?

The Emma Harding cleanser does sound amazing, but that's a lot of money to pay for a cleanser! Xx

  2. I've never tried Emma Hardie, but heard so much about this cleanser, and it really does seem amazing! Definitely putting it on the xmas wishlist :) x

  3. I loved the REN clear calm cleanser... but it ran out and I'm yet to repurchase! I'm currently loving Origins Zero Oil and Elemis Pro Radiance Cream Cleanser. Both lovely! xx
