Lust Have It October

Here's a quick peek at what I received in my October Lust Have It box*. The theme of this month's box was Spring racing and it featured a nice mix of makeup, skin care and hair care. The bit's I'm most looking forward to trying are the Princess Skincare Hyaluronic Acid Mask (RRP $25 per mask), Paula's Choice Oil Blotting Papers (RRP 10.50 for 100 sheets) and Evo Ritual Salvation Care Shampoo and Conditioner (sample size, full size RRP $25 each). As I'm sure you all know by now I'm a massive lover of skincare so it's no surprise that the skincare pick of the bunch got me a bit excited. Jam packed with hyaluronic acid, this mask is designed to maintain skin elasticity and keep your skin fresh and glowing. I've never used blotting papers before so interested to see how they go and I always love to try new hair products.

The bit's I'm not so excited about trying are the Le Tan Wash Off Spray Tan (40ml sample, full size RRP $14.99), Inika Mineral Eyeshadow (full size RRP $25) and Smitten Whipped Tinted Mousse Moisturiser (sample size, full size RRP $25). I'm not much of a fake tanner so I think a spray like this could be quite hard to master for a newbie like myself. I would have been quite excited by the full sized Inika shadow if it hadn't have been for the colour. I received the shade Mint Choc Cup which unfortunately I don't think I'm brave enough to try and rock. Although I did see some other bloggers received some really lovely shades so guess I was just unlucky in that department! Finally the tinted moisturiser which I was quite intrigued by however had a little test the other day and don't think it's for me. The shade is too dark for starters, but I also didn't really love the formula. I found it hard to blend, especially given that it was too dark which was a real shame. I think I'll try again during summer when I'm slightly more tanned.

Did you receive this month's Lust Have It box?

  1. I wasn't really overjoyed with this month's box. I think I need to use up some of my samples before I get anymore, it's getting ridiculous!
