Body Shop Haul

My brother recently returned from a trip to the UK and being the absolute gem he is, he picked up these Body Shop bits for me. Ok so I had to place and pay for the order but he delivered it and that's a start right? As you can see I went a bit crazy with the Satsuma scent but I'm sure that if you've had the pleasure of giving this a whiff, you will not blame me. Pretty difficult to get hold of in Australia, I don't think it's part of their permanent line so of course I had to snap up this opportunity to get my hands on the stuff. The Body Shop UK also has amazing deals and sales pretty much all the time. I made the mistake of signing up to their email newsletters so am forever feeling envious of those Body Shop lovers across the pond. I managed to pick these bits up at quite a bargain, spend £50 and get £25 off! Their deals really are amazing and great for finding gifts this time of year, don't even get me started on their beaut of an advent calendar. So if you're in the UK and not signed up to their emails to keep you in the know, what are you waiting for?!

Now onto what I actually picked up starting with the Satsuma spritzers. I picked up both the Body Mist and Eau De Toilette. The mist is much more lightly scented than the EDT and is perfect for spritzing on in the middle of a hot day to help you feel cool and refreshed. The scent doesn't hang around particularly long but it's great as a refresher. The EDT has a slightly stronger scent and I find it sticks around a little longer. I still wouldn't say it's the most long lasting and you'd definitely have to reapply during the day but I love the scent so much that it really doesn't bother me.

I also picked up the Satsuma Body Polish which is simply a shower gel type product with little exfoliating particles throughout. This is amazing for morning showers as the smell is so awakening and the small exfoliating beads are really invigorating. It's not super exfoliating so is suitable for daily use and it always leaves my skin always feeling really nourished. The final body piece I ordered was the Chocomania Soap which I'm yet to try but it does smell really lovely, I'll be sure to keep you updated if it's a goodin'.

Being the makeup junkie that I am I couldn't not order something from the Body Shop's range of makeup. The Honey line is a relatively new one so I decided to give their bronzer a whirl. I've been looking for a fairly natural bronzer that I can simply dust over my entire face without looking tangoed for a while now and I think I may have found the one. I have the shade 2 Fair Matte which is the perfect slightly-more-tanned version of my natural skin tone. They even offer a shade lighter than this so pale girls looking for a bronzer, definitely check out the Body Shop.
