October Favourites

I haven't done a monthly favourites posts in what feels like forever but decided to get back into it this month because there's some products I've really been loving. A nice mix of makeup, skincare and haircare so let's get cracking!

Ren Clear Calm 3 Clarifying Clay Cleanser: I've been having a rough patch with my skin as of late and this cleanser has been my saviour. I use as a second cleanse after my EH balm, massage all over and then usually leave on for a couple of minutes while I brush my teeth before washing off with a flannel. It acts like a mini clay treatment and really does clam down my skin. It helps reduce the size and redness of pimples, definitely one for those with hormonal breakouts, you're not alone.

L'Oreal Ever Pure Moisture Leave-In Conditioner: After hearing so many rave reviews about the L'Oreal sulfate-free range I just had to try something. With my recent venture into ombré putting my hair slightly on the dry side, I've been wanting to add moisture where ever I can. I run one pump of this through  my freshly washed, wet hair, focusing on the ends. One pump feels like heaps when you're applying but it never leaves any yucky residue and has helped revive my ombréd ends. The scent is quite unusual, rosemary and mint apparently, but don't be concerned, it doesn't linger.

Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch: I've raved about this primer many a time before but recently I've been really making an effort to use it daily. With my recent skin issues, it's been super helpful for smoothing things out and helping foundation stick around all day. Yes it's pricey for such a tiny pot, but you really only need the tiniest amount, definitely worth the investment for primer lovers.

Estée Lauder Double Wear Concealer: Once again something I've been loving due to my recent bout of terrible skin. Such a great coverage concealer that isn't too heavy I even use it under my eyes. Covers redness, blends well and never appears cakey, perfect.

Amazonian Clay 12-hour Blush Achiote: One I've been reaching for on mornings when I don't have a tonne of time to get ready. Simply dusted along the cheeks using a fluffy powder blush, this adds a little something something to my complexion without being unnatural. The formula of these are amazing, super pigmented, blend effortlessly and last all day. Just be careful, they are very pigmented so only a light hand is required to avoid the 'I just huffed and puffed my way through a marathon' face, you have been warned.
