The Winter Edit: Body Care

Today's post is part two of my Winter Edit, a collection of my favourite body bits and pieces for winter. If you didn't see my first post in this series, it's all about my winter skincare and you can check it out here. These products all help combat dry skin, which I find is pretty common come winter time. This post is slightly Palmer's heavy, I promise it's not sponsored, they just seem to really bring it when it comes to moisture!

Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Moisturising Body Oil: This is only a new addition to my body care booty, but boy is it good. I've been using it after a shower, massaging it in before drying my skin and patting dry afterwards. It has the signature Cocoa Butter scent which I really like and leaves my skin feeling super moisturised. It doesn't take long to soak in and for the price, I'd highly recommend.

Palmer's Cocoa Butter with Vitamin E: This is a really thick moisturiser with a butter like consistency that I use on those really dry areas of my body; elbows, knees, heels. You know the drill. I use before bed on the aforementioned areas and by morning time, I'm soft and smooth.

Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Body Scrub: I love a good exfoliation any time of the year but think it's particularly important in the winter to months to buff away any dead skin cells and reveal a new, fresh layer of skin ready for moisturising. I really like this particular body scrub as I find it leaves my skin feeling nourished, not stripped.

Garnier Intensive 7 Days with Nourishing Shea Butter: This is definitely my all time favourite body lotion. It rubs into the skin easily, drys quickly and leaves my skin feeling oh so soft and moisturised. This is the Shea Butter version for dry to extra dry skin, so really ramps up the moisture levels. It's cheap and works like a charm, what's not to love?

What are your winter body essentials?

  12. I used to love the Garnier moisturiser for the winter because it's so rich - but lately have been really into the Nivea In-Shower moisturisers because they're just so handy!
