Rimmel Lasting Finish Mono Blush in Santa Rose

Blush is definitely one of my favourite make up products, I love shopping for them, trialling new ones and enjoying old favourites. They can be used to brighten the face, add a natural flush of colour and add shape. A product that combines my love of blush and budget friendly beauty gets me pretty excited so you can only imagine how I felt when I discovered Rimmel's Santa Rose.

I've read quite a few rave reviews on this blush so decided to throw it in my basket during a recent ASOS shopping spree. I was not disappointed. At only $7.23 from ASOS it definitely fulfils my budget buy criteria. A dusty, shimmery pink in the pan which, on my pale winter skin, gives a really nice flush of colour. It's not super pigmented making it great for a daily wash of somethin' somethin' on the cheeks. Being quite shimmery I find that it also doubles as a highlight meaning one less product you need to rush to apply on those busy mornings! It's not at all chalky like some blushes on the high street can be and is really easy to apply and blend.

The packaging of this blush is its only downfall, but for the low price tag I can't complain. The packaging isn't very sturdy and doesn't come with a mirror but, it's the product inside that counts right? This blush has quickly become part of my daily makeup routine and I'm loving it!

Have you tried this blush? What's your favourite budget blush?
