La Roche Posay Nutritic Intense Riche

If you've read my blog for a little while, I'm sure you'll know that I have a pretty oily skin type. Now I know that all though my skin is very oily, it is also dehydrated. I've recently added a light oil into my nightly skin care line up and my skin has absolutely loved me for it. Although I know how important it is to keep even oily skin moisturised and hydrated, I tend to steer clear of any particularly thick creams, especially ones targeted for very dry skin. So this product may come as a slight surprise, aimed at comforting and soothing very dry and sensitive skin, but I've found a use for it.

I've been applying this daily as an eye cream before bed. It's a very luxurious, slightly gel like moisturiser which has nice cooling affect on my under eye area. I first thought it would be too heavy for this delicate area, however it's actually perfect. I've been using it for about 3 weeks and have had no problems with breakouts or little whiteheads that some eye creams cause, and my eye area looks lovely and plump.  It's not heavily fragranced, which I think is why it's been so safe to use around my eyes. It does have a slight Sudocrem-like scent, but nothing too overpowering and it doesn't linger.

La Roche Posay products are available at Escentual along with heaps of other French skincare (it's very hard to keep the purchases to a minimum- trust me!). Have you tried any products by La Roche Posay? How did you find them?

  1. I've tried the LaRoche Posay Effaclar duo and wasn't a fan as I found it really drying, but this moisturiser sounds quite nice!
