Daniel Sandler Watercolour Blush in Flush

A love for trying new products is pretty normal when it comes to the beauty blogging world. As much as I love to have my go to staples, I can never resist trying out a new product, especially if it offers something so different to anything I've tried before. This is where Daniel Sandler's Watercolour Blush comes into play. For those not familiar with the brand or product, Daniel Sandler is an internationally known make up artist who has developed his own line of makeup and this is his liquid blush. Enriched with Vitamin E and Jojoba, which Daniel claims will enhance application and nourish skin.

Now this blush literally has a water like texture (maybe a tiny bit thicker) which may sound a little scary to start with, but is actually super easy to master.  As it says on the bottle, I simply shake well (it tends to separate when left untouched), squeeze a small drop onto the back of my hand and apply! I just use my Real Techniques stippling brush however I'm sure a similar style brush would work just fine. I haven't tried applying this with my fingers as I like the control I can get from using a brush, however I'm sure if you're good with your hands, how naughty, then they would work just fine.

I have the shade Flush and find that it really does give the nicest, natural flush to my cheeks. The water-like formula allows it to be blended seamlessly into the skin and is almost undetectable, unlike a powder. This makes it a great option for natural days, but can also be built up for a much stronger colour pay off. If I accidentally apply a bit too much, I simply use my foundation brush to blend into the skin for a more natural appearance.

As for wear time, Sandler claims that these blushers are 'water resistant' (note: not waterproof). I do find that they stick around most of the day, however they don't have amazing staying power. They probably wouldn't stick around for your morning jog (that once a year occurrence for me!), but really, who expects their makeup to? Even on my oily skin, I'm pretty happy with how long this stays put for.

So if you're after a blush that will give you a natural flush and blend seamlessly, definitely check this one out. It comes in 13 shades, however I ordered mine from Cult Beauty which only stocks six. It's also available at Feel Unique which stocks 9 shades and offers free worldwide delivery. For only £14.50, I think it's definitely worth the money and I can't see my bottle ending anytime soon- a little goes a long way with this one!

I'd love to know if you've tried this blush or any other products by Daniel Sandler and how you found them.
