Burt's Bees Tips and Toes Kit

It's coming in to winter down here in Australia and my hands are already starting to show the signs of the dropping temperature. I saw this little gift pack on Look Fantastic the other day and thought it would be a great way to try out some Burt's Bees products and hopefully save my hands from the impending  cold weather. The pack includes 5 travel size minis as well as one full size lip balm (another hand bag essential, especially come winter time). The products included are an Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Cream, Honey and Grapeseed Oil Hand Cream, Coconut Foot Cream, Hand Salve, Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream and a Pomegranate Oil Lip Balm.

I've only had this set for a couple of days so can't give full reviews, however I have had the chance to dry out a few products. I really like the cuticle butter, it has a really nice fresh lemon scent and sinks into the skin super fast. I also really like the lip balm, it leaves a very subtle tint to the lips which I really like, whilst also providing hydration (it doesn't taste that great though, so beware!). Great for those no make up, make up days! I've also tried the hand salve which I think is a bit of an unusual product. I find it difficult to use all over my hands but think it would be great for especially dry areas such as elbows.

The other products in the set I haven't tried just yet, but I can tell you how they smell! I like the smell of the almond milk hand cream (it smells just like marzipan), I'm not so keen on the scent of the honey and grapeseed hand cream and find that the peppermint in the foot cream really overpowers any coconut scent.

Overall I think this is a pretty handy set to have. Whether you're travelling, want something to throw in your handbag or just want to try out some products, this set is great! If this particularl set doesn't tickle your fancy, there are a few others available all around the $21 (£13) mark. If you're in Australia, I would recommend picking this up online (from somewhere like Look Fantastic) as it's much cheaper than in store.

I'd love to hear about your experience with any Burt's Bees products or your go to winter skin essentials!
