Empties #1

I love reading other bloggers empties post. It's one thing to see what bloggers are buying and using, but I think it's even better to see what they have finished- it must be pretty decent from them to use it all! You also know that they've used it enough to be able to give you a reliable review. I hope you enjoy seeing the products I've used up recently!

Garnier Body Intensive 7 Days Conditioning Lotion
This is a really nice moisturiser that sinks into the skin quickly and leaves it feeling hydrated without leaving any residue. I had already purchased another bottle as a back up before I had even finished this one- that's how much I love it! It also has a really nice scent, not too over-powering but enough to notice. As you can see from the picture, I've got the Brightening Cocoa Butter version for dry, dull skin but they also do Shea Butter, Mango, Honey and Aloe Vera. As for the claim that the hydration lasts for 7 days, I don't think that's so true, but really, I never expected it to.

John Frieda Frizz-Ease Miraculous Recovery Intensive Masque
I picked this mask up after loving the 3 Day Straight Semi-Permanent Styling Spray also from John Frieda's Frizz Ease range and I'm so glad I did! It's a really thick, creamy mask you apply to clean, wet hair, concentrating on the ends, and is recommended that you leave it on for 3-5 minutes. I prefer to leave it on for longer, more like 10 minutes, as I do with all hair masks just to ensure maximum moisture for my hair. This mask smells so nice, fruity and fresh, and the scent stays in your hair even after you wash out the product. This mask leaves my hair feeling silky smooth and looking shiny- I love it! I'm definitely going to check out more from the Frizz Ease Range!

Batiste Dry Shampoo in Blush
Another one of Batiste's dry shampoos that I've loved. I'm sure you've already heard heaps about them so I won't go on too much! They're just super handy for second day hair (or maybe even third if I'm feeling super lazy) to get rid of any oiliness and even give some volume. You have to be careful and ensure you rub it in properly to avoid white patches of hair but I don't find that too hard. I like this one because it smells really yummy and girly.

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in 001 Transparent
I think this is the first time I've ever used up an entire powder product but it's for good reason! This much hyped drugstore find is great for us oily skinned gals. Basically, it helps keep your skin matte without being heavy or appearing cakey. I lightly dust this over my make up in the mornings and it helps to keep my foundation going through out the day. I'd definitely check this one out if you're on the hunt for a mattifying powder!

Model Co Mascara
Now this is a slight beauty blogger fail on my behalf, I don't actually know what this mascara is called. I received it free with a magazine ages ago and all that is written on the tube is Model Co. I've tried checking their online store but none of their mascaras are packaged like this. It's either a product so old that it has been discontinued, or it was specially packaged for the magazine. Either way, I love it! I'm so sad to see the end of this one- it started to get gluggy and it's definitly way beyond the 3 months that you're meant to keep a mascara for. I used this mascara pretty much every single day, it was so easy to apply, separated my lashes really well and added volume. If any one knows the name of this mascara, please let me know in the comments below- I really want to repurchase!

That's all my empties for now! Hopefully these posts will become pretty regular on my blog- I really need to start getting through products before I buy more. Let me know if you've tried any of these products and how you got on.
